7-year-old Valeria has a severe case of cerebral palsy and experiences painful spasticity. Help her access rehabilitation!
Valeria Myshchenko was born prematurely, weighing 1370 grams, and she spent the first three months of her life in intensive care on a ventilator. At such a young age, she underwent two operations to remove the ileostomy, as Valeria was diagnosed with perforated peritonitis shortly after birth.
As a result, a section of the girl's bowel was removed, leading her to spend the remainder of her life on special diets. However, the primary diagnoses were established later: cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, and spastic right hemiparesis with notable, persistent motor disorders.
The child frequently sees neurologists, works with rehabilitation specialists, and receives massage and physiotherapy. As a result, Valeria can now sit and move around independently, recognize letters and numbers, attempt to write with her left hand, and hold a spoon.
Valeria dreams of attending school and being with her peers. To achieve this, she requires regular therapy, including sessions with a speech therapist, psychologist, and occupational therapist. Please assist her in attending the next scheduled rehabilitation course to alleviate the painful spasticity in her limbs and continue pursuing her dream!
