MARCH 3 - WORLD HEARING DAY

Imagine that the world around you is completely silent... You can see your friends laughing but can't hear their voices. You can see your mother saying something, but the words dissolve into emptiness. You can feel the vibration of music, but you can't enjoy its melody... All of this is a significant part of the lives of many more people than you can imagine.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in ten people worldwide is hearing impaired; by 2050, this number could rise to 2.5 billion. Early diagnosis and hearing aids are now the key to helping people with hearing loss live, learn, and communicate thoroughly. Unfortunately, modern high-performance hearing aids are still out of reach for many people due to their high cost.

The charity exchange "DobroDiy" regularly helps children with hearing impairments. The most common request is for a hearing aid. Tamila Fomenko, 17, is an active and cheerful girl who dreams of hearing the world around her as it is.

From early childhood, Tamila's hearing deteriorated rapidly and steadily. Standard hearing aids provided partial relief but did not allow the girl to fully hear the voices of friends, the twittering of birds, or even the crunch of snow. Now she can hear - with modern OTICON INTENT 2 MINIRITE hearing aids.

But there is a problem - they cost 179,590 UAH. This amount is unbearable for the family, and for all of us together, this is a real challenge that we can overcome. Let's help Tamila hear the world! We invite you to make your contribution here: https://248.dp.ua/projects/1680.

Let's give Tamila hearing aids and the chance to live a full life together!
