9-YEAR-OLD MAKSYM WITH CEREBRAL PALSY NEEDS REHABILITATION!
Maksym Golub was born prematurely, at 28 weeks of pregnancy, weighing 1300 g. The baby was very weak. Doctors predicted worst-case scenarios for the baby, and even suggested that the mother give up the child. However, Elizaveta did not even think about it.From the first days, Maksym began to fight for his life. The boy underwent intensive therapy and lung surgery, and was connected to a ventilator. Eventually he started breathing and eating on his own. And two months after his birth, he and his mother were discharged home.
Unfortunately, the boy’s premature birth and numerous severe pathologies did not pass without a trace. Already at 11 months, Maksym was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
The boy is obedient and diligent. Maksym really likes to swim in the pool, work with a psychologist and attend massages, but classes with a speech therapist are difficult for him. Thanks to regular classes, the boy has become more confident, he feels his body better.
Mother is raising Maksym alone, so she had to quit her job. There is a catastrophic lack of funds for rehabilitation measures for my son. Please join the gathering and help Maksym to get to the planned course of classes already in June!
