VICTORIA WITH AUTISM NEEDS EXPENSIVE EXAMINATION OF BRAIN ACTIVITY
Victoria Kyrychenko is 9 years old. From birth, she grew up surrounded by the love of her family - mom, dad and older sister. Unfortunately, when the girl was about a year old, she fell ill with SARS and as a result lost all skills: she did not respond to appeals, did not look into her eyes.
Since then, the Kyrychenko family began to fight for their daughter's health. During this time, Victoria visited dozens of doctors' offices and rehabilitation courses. As a result, doctors diagnosed her with sensorimotor alalia, hyperactivity, and delayed psycho-speech development.
Parents constantly and obediently followed all the recommendations of specialists, and this brought the long-awaited result. Now Victoria can keep eye contact, responds to her name, paints, makes some handmade crafts, cuts with scissors, knows numbers and the letters of the alphabet.
Victoria understands spoken speech and can repeat some words, but, unfortunately, she does not communicate at all, does not speak to her mother, father and older sister. Along with regular classes with a psychologist, speech therapist and speech therapist, the girl constantly takes medication to prevent epileptic seizures.
Now the doctor advises Victoria to do an EEG. Night monitoring of bioelectric activity of the brain is the most indicative diagnostic method. With its results doctors will be able to adjust the therapy for Victoria to the one that will ideally suit her condition and will be able to prevent possible epileptic attacks. The family budget is exhausted. Kyrychenko’s family is asking for support from everyone who cares!
